Northern Economic Corridor
The states of Sinaloa, Durango, Coahuila, Chihuahua, Nuevo Leon, Tamaulipas and Zacatecas have formed the Northern Economic Corridor, -COEN- to be bonded by the Mazatlan-Matamoros highway, concluding the work of major road infrastructure to be built in Mexico; the Mazatlan-Durango highway.
The port of Mazatlan will be the door, which goods enter from Asia, which can be transported by road to the Matamoros-Texas border to enter to the South American market.

- Structure of 51 stations, 696 km of track lying, has connections with the center and north.
- The Pacific Railroad that interfaces with the Chihuahua Railway has daily service to Nogales, Mexicali and Guadalajara.
Air connectivity:Mazatlan Airport ranks fourth in OMA, by the number of passengers served. Mazatlan is a renowned tourist destination nationally, annually welcomes over 1 million domestic and foreign tourists, mainly from the United States and Canada
